A superb location, easy to get to however you travel to Chester. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room had a very comfortable large bed and everything necessary for your stay. Breakfast is buffet style served in a bright airy restaurant alongside the canal. Lots of choices available so should suit most people. It was very warm during our stay but the room had an efficient fan.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

This hotel is in a wonderful location for anyone wishing to explore Chester, Cheshire, and surrounding areas. Transport links are very close, and secure parking was available for £12. The staff are all very friendly and helpful,, the bar and restaurant are well-kept and well-stocked. There was a great choice for breakfast, and having a table overlooking the canal was lovely.

The room we stayed in was slightly tired in terms of decor, and the beds could have been more comfortable, but as we were there one night, this wasn't too much of a problem.

I’ve stayed at this property about 20 times in the past and always been fantastic but on this occasion when I booked it there was only a business class room available which was twice the price of a normal room only to get in the room and it be EXACTLY the same as a standard room which obviously there trying it on as only room available so will be thinking twice next time
