"Lovely room at a great price."

We loved the room - the four poster bed was fantastic and very comfortable! The location was great - very close to the centre and bars/restaurants. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Quite a lot of noise outside in the early hours.

I found this hotel to be totally unacceptable. Because of road work in Halifax, I was totally unable to get to the hotel. I drove around for at least 30 minutes and could not get to the hotel. I finally had to drive away from Halifax and leave the reservation. I also tried to call the hotel, but the phone would not go through. I would like to have a full refund for my reservation.

"Historic & comfortable"

Beautiful decor, mixing historic room with modern amenities, first quality furnishings, new bathroom. 4 poster bed was comfortable, pretty linens, great windows. Also appreciated the easy to use TV little fridge, coffee items -- . My favorite.

Sign out front not easy to see, but host gave detailed description so just have to pay attention .
