I got upgraded to another apartment in the Oyster Schelles block and never stayed in Ipanema apartment. The Oyster box apartment was the most amazing place I ever stayed at.

I booked according to Booking.com for 20 Ipaema, BUT was called by UMHLANGA LETTING to say there was a problem as someone who was at this place, asked for an extension. They then offered me 18 Ipenema saying that it was exactly the same as 20....it WAS NOT!!!!!

Excellent location,clean ,spacious and comfortable, aircons in both bedrooms , kitchen has all the essentials

Aircon leaks outside front door, leads to slippery floors,becareful especially if wearing slops.Stairs leading up to apartment are slightly steep but manageable

The aircons were amazing. The unit was extremely comfortable and suitable for us and our children. It was beautiful and super clean and the staff were so friendly, from security at the gate, to the ladies cleaning. All super stars!!!!
