"Great for an overnight stay for us and facilities and location allow for longer stay."

9.0

The property was well located. Spacious, clean and functional for an overnight stay in Edinburgh. Helpful information provided by host and we used the luggage facility at the bus station as suggested as we were attending a matinee at Edinburgh Playhouse. The Safari club pub 5 minutes away was great for a last drink and shops open nearby for last minute purchase before bed.

I did find it a bit noisy throughout the night with traffic and people coming home but that’s to be expected in a large vibrant city.

Location, location, location. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms.

Microwave and TV would be nice. Shower did not work. The food froze in the fridge.

Clean bedding and comfortable quilt

Wooden floors are very squeaky especially those along the bedrooms entrance. Living room sofa is comfortable but was too cold after a while even with the heater. Good to leave 1 or 2 blanket there

Exceptionally clean. Good location. Would have been useful to have mirrors in the bedrooms. Also, a bedside table in both bedrooms, not just one. Finally, there is a strange arrangement in the bathroom....the shower is at the entrance and the toilet much further in....this means it is difficult not to get wet feet if someone has already showered.

Great location, kitchen facilities excellent. Clean and tidy and loads of space.

No Mirrors in the bedrooms, would be useful near socket. Be good if Flip flops were provided as you have to walk through shower to get to toilet, if shower has been used and floor is still wet.

"Lovely little gem a short walk from the castle."

9.0

The flat is ground floor, which is really great, and spacious. The rooms are bright and airy, with lots of storage, and the kitchen is fairly roomy too. The living area is bright and there is a decent cupboard for coats and shoes. There was an iron, board and hairdryer and ample towels. Lots of plates, cups, glasses and a decent fridge. The location is good, with buses just down the road or a 20-min walk to the castle. There is some muted noise from the train and school but this isn't too loud, definitely not enough to keep us up. The windows are kindly frosted to avoid being overlooked. There is a retail park a short walk away, with a Sainsbury's, Lidl and B&M, so it's great if you've forgotten anything! There is also a cool little bar called The Regent a 5-min walk away. Check in was easy, as was check out. Ellie and Scott were very helpful with the process and made it simple.

Whilst there are massive mirrors in the bathroom and corridors, the rooms don't have them. There is also no TV or speaker for music, so bring your own Bluetooth speaker if you want music or background noise! The shower is unusual, in that you have to step through the shower area to get to the toilet. Bring slippers as your feet will get wet otherwise. The shower wasn't great - it was quite on and off pressure-wise and the temperature was hard to regulate. No sharp knives for cooking, so come prepared.
