The balcony with the view is amazing. Very clean, very nice owners and very comfy bed. Location ist great, but for walking downtown expect steep walks. Enjoyed the first 5 nights so much that we came back at the end of our trip. Parking inside a garage is available.

The views, the host (Frances in particular was brilliant and helpful), the pool, the overall cleanliness, the layout of the apartment, the simplicity of parking. All of it really!

Nothing. We liked it all. Just be sure to have a car or be prepared to use Uber/a taxi for getting home at night.

beautiful view on the city and mountains. quiet. safe. comfy big bed. kitchen well equipped. comfy couch. very accommodating hosts, let me check in early. Bo Kaap is a great neighbourhood, I can recommend the free walking tour (with Guru Nathan) here to find out more about this quarter.

My experience at 8 on Upper Bloem was fantastic, largely thanks to the exceptional efforts of the housekeeping lady and the owner. I had a special request and the owners accommodated me and even went the extra mile of upgrading my room. The room was spotless each day, with thoughtful touches like extra towels and amenities that made me feel at home. Nozi helped a great deal and it was clear she genuinely cared about the guests' comfort, making my stay truly memorable. Highly recommend this property for the outstanding service!
