Illa B&B

The BnB has a nice location with a nice view of the city for breakfast. The bed was good and the water of the shower was hot. The place was clean and nothing to say on the price : you get what you pay.

The communication was pretty bad - despite messages on booking ahead of time, then a whatsapp group was created with 6 people in it, with other information and long delay for an answer. This could be dealt with but the place was freezing cold and we caught a cold for the rest of our stay in Cusco and Machu Picchu (which probably adds on to the frustration). The breakfast was poor with only bread, marmelade and a juice. Also to note that the place is located on a hill, which indeed offers a nice view of the Plaza Mayor; however, also means that you have some steps to reach there (while acclimating to the altitude) and uber drivers have some difficulties locating it. If you're looking for a minimum of comfort, we would clearly not recommend.

*Bathroom Locks didn't work *Gas was not replaced *At first the receptionist agreed to doing the room service when we were heading out. The rooms were never cleaned and the next receptionist said, they would need to charge a fee for the service.

Location.

We took a three-room apartment for 7 people. However, one of the rooms was very small, uncomfortable, damp, and the bed for two people was uncomfortable and smaller than 130 cm.
