The Grand Ward Place - Colombo 7

Zeer fijn appartement. Ruim en schoon. Fijn ook dat je gebruik kan maken van de faciliteiten in het gebouw. Ook heel fijn qua locatie. Kleine supermarkt op loopafstand.

Enige wat we misten is wat doekjes en theedoeken. Gewoon wat kleine huishoudelijke spulletjes en een basis van thee en koffie was ook fijn geweest.

The place was great, lovely homelike feeling. Beautiful interior and good location. The host was really friendly and fast at communicating with me. Would highly recommend it.

Excellent building and excellent apartment. Very nice views of the Colombo city. Building has lot of facilities including an infinity pool, tennis court and a very good gym. Every aspect of the building name GRAND shows its grandeour and the apartment was also well maintained and had all the amenities. The property owner was always helpful to resolve raised queries as soon as possible.

Some minor issues were there but overall it was an excellent stay expereince.

I loved the view from the place and the apartment was kept very clean. A good selection of books. We all enjoyed a nice movie on netflix by the end of a tiring day so that was nice. They provided hair dryer, straightener which we appreciated. The facilities in the building was great except the cafe which could be better stocked.

Things we would have appreciated is - A tour of the apartment to understand what is where. Basic stuff like cutlery, tea or coffee powder and sugar could have been provided. More convertors could be provided or we could be informed before hand so we can get them.

The roof top pool

Too many to list. - hadn’t been cleaned - ant infested - cooker didn’t work - aircon didn’t work - no toilet roll or toiletries provided - no instructions or information - threatening property management - no glasses to drink out of - balcony door broken so couldn’t be locked (18th floor with young kids was just dangerous) - kitchen wasn’t properly equipped

This apartment was excellent, very clean. The air con worked well and the view was stunning. The facilities of using the pool was wonderful and the host has great communication and happy to help.
