Primrose valley- Pine Ridge

Lovely property very much a home from home stay rather than the bog standard haven owned caravans

Heating and internet stopped working on Saturday evening.

The beach access was ok

We left the property after just one night, it was not good at all. The property smelt like wet dog and wee. There was half eaten dog food in the fridge as well as left over food in the freezer. There were nuts under the kids beds on the floor. Cobwebs in every corner. The kettle, utensils and microwave were filthy. The kids mattresses had basically collapsed and not fit for anyone to sleep on. There were holes in the walls from missing pictures or old clothes rails etc. the door to the little toilet couldn’t open properly and the heating didn’t work. Over all this was a massive disappointment. I wish I had taken photos but we spent the first 2 hours cleaning the place trying to enjoy our kids first little holiday. There is a reason why these photos were taken at night. Avoid at all costs not worth it.

Good location, near facilities and comfortable beds, brilliant communication from the host when we had a question

Door to toilet was stuck on the carpet so wasn’t easy to use

Extremely clean. Had everything you needed, location to activities was great, beds were comfortable, good power on shower, communication from the owner was outstanding. Very good value for money.

Only small thing. The doors, couldn’t get into one bathroom as the door had not been shaved enough now new carpet was down, so in a way good thats good it had new carpet, some doors wouldn’t shut. You can see they have tried hard to update and maintain a nice van. Just needs a few accessories fixing but does not impact stay in any way

Lack of mirrors

Excellent location, good size and clean caravan. Very helpful from the Ollie, boiler ran out of bottle gas. Contact Ollie and arranges a new bottle from Haven. All sorted out in 30mins. Also left an item in the caravan after check out. Contacted Ollie and he promised to post back to me. Thanks for very helpful owner.
