1 Taits Flat

The location in St. Margaret’s Hope is so charming. The apartment is so comfortable. It has everything you need. You may want to bring your food if you plan to cook the 1st day. The village store closes early. There are 2 restaurants in town. We ate at both and enjoyed being in the village. We came on a bus from the airport and arrived at 10:05 in the night. There were no taxis available due to a cruise ship being in town. If the Host had not answered our call and met us at the bus stop we would have never found the cottage. The address given us is the name of the cottage,not a viable address to find on Google map. A huge thank you to the Host for being responsive and helpful.

We liked everything about our stay here. We would advise you to keep in communication with the Host to help you find your way to the cottage.

Excellent property Beautiful location Had all you needed for a comfortable stay

Perfect location for exploring Orkney and super wee cottage with everything supplied. It was a bit difficult to find -our satnav had difficulties to start off with. Only problem we found was finding an evening meal after 8pm after the ferry arriving at 8pm - I'd recommend taking food to heat up in the cottage for the 1st night if arriving on 8pm ferry.

A very comfortable and well -equipped apartment close to the seafront. There are shops and a great pub within a couple of minutes walk.

Had everything equipped

Property was in an ideal location and was a very clean/ comfortable wee flat weather it’s for a night or a week. 2 mins from the boat to which was ideal. From start to finish couldn’t fault anything about the property or staff. Highly recommend

A comfortable and well appointed little flat in a great location, it suited us well for the week we stayed.

Location was lovely.

The accommodation though small was very cosy, warm and comfortable.

Could have done with more information, eg how to switch the heated towel rail on. The freezer in the fridge was ineffective because the door fell of and couldn't be refitted, possibly due to too much ice. Lost some food.
