Location was good

Very bad experience! The apartment was advertised with wifi and tv. We stayed for a week and we did not have internet or tv even though we told the owner that they are not working. They told to go to some nearby cafe to use internet. Toaster and coffe machine were broken. Toilet flush button did not work. There was a lot of dust on the floors! The bed linens were probably clean but had a lot of stains on them. We would never go there again.

Location is very good from and in close distance to the river and tourist places and attractions. But the street is very narrow and you would not get by car there to load and unload your stuff. The host was very friendly and supportive with a good sense of humor. Gave good instructions and allowed to be very flexible with arrival.

The pictures you see on booking seems to be made on the opening day or the photographer should get award. I’ve selected this place because of the combination of good price and nice photos. But was disappointed. The house is quite old and sound isolation is poor. You can hear everything on the streets and in the neighboring flats. Luckily neighbors were quiet. But we were worrying ourselves as simple walking with bare feet made a lot of noise for neighbors. You won’t get lot of shelves and existing wardrobes had an old house smell. We did not use them due to smell sticking to clothes. The old-house smell was around the apartment but that’s the problem of all old houses. The water heater in the kitchen was too loud to sleep there. Bed is And it is hard to get comfortable stable warm water. It is either hot or cold. The host should pay more attention to tiny but annoying details. Like broken WC flush button, broken AC outlet, broken ventilator which has led to mold in the shower. Please put new fresh wardrobes with shelves, fix all tiny things, put more soap in shower and fix ventilation, consider replacing water heater and refresh sofas and beds.

The apartment has a great location, which was perfect for us. Simple but okay for a couple of nights in Porto.

The apartment wasn't very clean (mold in the bathroom). There was "free coffee" but the capsules weren't even compatible with the coffee machine and a few of the lamps didn't work. The host isn't very responsive. I left my charger at the apartment and they say no one has found it. Plus, I'm still waiting for the invoice of our stay after one week.
