Very quiet, located about one km from the city center. The neighbourhood has a kind of bohemian vibe and there is a nice park nearby. The host is great, very welcoming and sociable. Wonderful choice!

The host is so so so kind. He picked us at the train station the first day and drive us back to the train station as well the last day. Moreover, the private boat tour around Zwolle was so unforgettable! The surrounding is full of nature and super kind people. I definitively recommend to stay here to enjoy the local experience! Thank you !

The shower water might not be hot enough

Norbert was such a kind and attentive host. He picked me up from the station and made sure my special diet was catered for. The room was brilliant, looking right out across the water with a lovely garden at the back. It was a quick and pleasant walk into the town, which is an extremely picturesque place to hang out in with a fantastic art gallery and loads of enticing cafes.

Very very nice host. I just mentioned ahead of my arrival that I am vegetarian and the host made an effort and left some vegetarian food in the refrigerator. It is wonderful experience to spend several days in the house floating on water. Waves cannot be sensed unless a big boat is passing very near by. The host lives in the same house in the next apartment, so if you need to ask for something, it is easy.

Mornings can be a bit chilly, depending on the weather conditions, so turn on the air conditioning early in the morning, since the ac needs some time to heat up the apartment (or set up the timer).

Norbet is one of the best hosts I have ever come across. His boat house is equipped with a nice bathtub and comfy bed. There are two TVs in the room if you need entertainment. He prepared an amazing breakfast and always checked with me to ensure I had everything. He even offered to do laundry and lend me the boat to go away from the town. Budda (his dog) is super friendly. I had a great time staying there and I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of his place.

We loved this property and can’t wait to come back! The owner (Norbert) is SO LOVELY and welcoming and checked in on us everyday to make sure that we had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the view on the water was lovely. There is an outdoor fireplace and even a boat that can be used on the water. It is (roughly) 20 minutes outside of the city center but a beautiful walk/bike ride into town. Norbert provided so many options for breakfast and even brought additional items once he found out that we were vegetarian. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Norbert was such a nice and courteous host. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast with different kinds of bread toppings was exceptionally good. Thank you very much. We would always come back
