Location

Very dirty with blood stains on the sheets and wall. Instructions to find it were unclear and we ended up in the wrong bnb across the road. When I called the provider number to ask for help he was very rude to me.

The location was great - on a side street near Eyre Square and the pedestrian-only areas of pubs, restaurants/cafes and lots of shopping. Also within walking distance of many of the city's main attractions.

The owner would be doing tourists a big favour by changing the name from 'Market 5' to 'Val Air Apartments', or else put up a sign with that name. I spent a lot of time looking for it and asking people on the street where it is - room's above Val Air Hair. He has the right intention - the room, tho small, is attractive, but he should get a female friend to go through it - artwork in the bathroom is nice, but she'd spot the lack of an extra roll of t.p. under the sink, and no drinking glasses, so that guests don't have to angle their head under the bathroom tap for a drink of water.

Is a good location

The contact number was very unhelpful. The instructions to get into the apartment were dreadful. It implies there are kitchen facilities but there are not. Room itself is very small only suits one person.

Except for the convenient location, everything else was unacceptable

Inconveniently small, with broken bedside lamps, but above all extremely dirty

Location was central, 10 minutes walk to dock, plenty of Cafe and restaurants in neighborhood

1. The room was not clean, hair in bed. 2. All the dirty laundry was kept in the hallway/stairs 3. Too warm, very small room. No space even to keep luggage. 4. They only send a message with codes and password for self check in. When we ask help for a place to lock our bikes somewhere safe, there was no response. We tried to message, call, WhatsApp but no response whatsoever. 5. Upon arrival at hotel/location. There was a common entrance for the hotel as well as for the hairdresser at the ground floor. Our room was on the 2nd floor. A lady working in a hairdresser shop started talking rudely to us for keeping luggage at the entrance. She even started taking photos of our luggage and started accusing us that she will lose her business because of the luggage in her entrance. The name of the hairdresser is the same as the hotel. We thought she may have some dispute with the hotel owner. Later we thought she was part of the same business as the hotel (because of the same name). 6. Upon this incident on arrival at the property, we tried to contact the property again. We tried to call but no response. We didn't feel safe staying there. Then we called booking.com customer care. Booking.com was not helping at all. According to booking.com we were earlier than check in time. We should wait until check in time to see if property is responding or not (nothing wrong if property is not responding? is it not normal to ask questions before check in?). Only if the property doesn't respond after check in time, booking.com will not charge us and rather provide another accommodation. Until then we are subject to pay entire amount if we want to cancel booking. 7. We never got any response from property, neither booking.com bothered to check on our safety/comfort. We somehow finished our 2 day stay with an insecure feeling.

Location of the property is extremely central. It is very close to Electric - a night club - so can be a little noisy here and there but it didn't bother me. There is facility to make tea and coffee. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was stocked with shower gel and shampoo

Couple of stray hairs in the bed and on pillows but that was about it. And for all I know they came from the person changing the bed. Otherwise very clean accommodation

Location and lovely and clean loved the room

Microwave we not working. Room a little small otherwise every thing was really good.

Bed was comfy and the location was very good. Amenities were also good.

Issue with security at front door, passcode but door was often left ajar by having items left in the door to keep it ajar. No staff at the property to help. Had issue with another guest attempting to gain forced entry into room.
