"Simply wonderful!"

Great location in the heart of Vilaflor, a very lovely highest mountain village in Spain, it is a flat with 4 rooms and a shared bathroom and kitchen, yes it is old but I liked it very much and quirky, it was clean and well equipped ,as a solo female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable in my private room, I loved evenings on the terrace , the other guests were very considerate, simple people wanting to reconnect with nature, nothing was unpleasant. The price is a bargain, all the negative things mentioned by others can also happen in very expensive hotels.

It is a very well established fact that all flats and houses in Spain are covered in tiles because of the heat, so it will always be a little echo noise, for me this is part of the spanish charm , it is not disturbing, also the darkness is common to keep the heat out, and the lighting is energy saving which I totally agree . For this price, I am grateful that simple no fuss places like Alma exist in such amazing locations. I would love to go back!

"If you like bed-bugs this might be the place for you!!"

Location was good, that was about it.

The bed has bugs, i had rashes for days after staying here. The decor and furnishing is very dated. Not recommendable!!

"Loved the mountain, rest is average."

It was relatively inexpensive. Also It was easy to get to the room. It was quiet and peaceful place. I found hiking trail nearby and loved to do hiking. Beautiful rooftop views.

It felt like facilities needed renovation. Almost everything had wear and tear. For example door of one toilet was hard to lock and unlock. Another toilet barely worked at all. Vilaflor itself is very small and not much to see or do there.
