Studio 2

The location was perfect for my research trip to the Records Office. Parking was easy in the nearby pay and display - I tried to move the car in the evening to the on-road parking but it gets taken quite quickly out of restricted hours. However, I found a place on a side street. The studio itself was very clean, well-thought-out and comfortable, on the whole. The bedding was lovely, and I appreciated the tea and coffee left. Wifi was excellent.

Some of this is probably just my personal preference but I felt slightly uneasy about the door opening straight from the pavement/road into the room where I was sleeping. There was no issue, however, so it was safe. Because of the location of the studio, I had to keep the blinds down if I didn't want pedestrians peeking into the room. Again, not an issue because I was out in the daytime and closed the blind at night. The window over the door let in light from a streetlamp outside which did disturb my sleep as the room was too light. The bathroom had a musty smell - I left the door open at first to air it but the rest of the flat started smelling of it, so I shut it.

It was very clean and had everything you needed easily to hand.

The location was superb. Short walk into town. Just a bit of a hike on the way back up!!

Great location, apartment was perfect for the night. Lots of information given on booking didn’t need to contact the hosts, all information was given in advance.
