Lovely house near Motor museum, which we were visiting for Slot car weekend,only 25 minute walk to venue,shop 5 minute walk from house

Few things should have been done as promised before we arrived

Lovely house and garden,especially as Gardener came during our stay ..

Cooker needed cleaning and toilet seat broken if these were done,I would have rated it much higher,

Good location and not expensive.

All of the washing which included our towels was still wet sat in the washer and we had to move it all into dryer and wait for them to dry. The house smelled of cigarettes. There’s a cigarette stand in the garden full of cigarettes. Most of the towels were a bit dirty but one was filthy. The oven had used tinfoil in it and there were food crumbs and burnt food on all the shelves. There was no toilet roll or hand towels. The toilet seat was broken. The garden is very overgrown.

Heating didn't work so we had to rely on electric fan heaters. The oven was dirty. There was wet washing in the machine. There was a bin of cigarette butts outside the back door. The toilet seat in the main bathroom was broken. There was very little toilet roll so pack your own. No hand towels or soap in the bathroom so take your own.

Quiet environs. Good for our purpose.

Toilet seats all hanging off not much toilet rolls Wet washing in the washer smelled damp stair case was rotten felt u safe to stand on mould round the windows cigarette butts left in garden. Heating seemed to be on constant all night upstairs it was boiling and noisy but cold downstairs neighbour’s woke us up at 12am doing recycling for some reason and banging car doors first night.
