Spacious Large Group House Near NEC and Airport

The price was ok. Because we stayed on a Saturday night/Sunday I could park outside the front. Near train station and shops.

The beds were lumpy or very noisy. Room was very sparce, lots of marks over the walls and chipped away paint. I didn't get my check in instructions until around 3 30 (check in at 3) after trying to contact the property since 6 30 am. I also got a £50 hold incase of damages in a shared property with no way of telling which person did anything which made me very nervous. I found it extreamly stressful booking with this person.

Paid for the room through booking dot com, then station road sent me a link and tried to make me pay another £68 and refused to answer any texts or calls when I asked for my money back as they would let me in to the room I booked after a night shift !!!! Absolute shambless of a place

I was woking in an adjoining street so, for me, specifically for this job, the location was perfect. For the money and how it was advertised I had realistic expectations. However, it was secure, the room was clean and the bathroom was also clean and with a good shower.

The kitchen light didn't work, the fridge was filthy and the sink full of dishes for the entirety of my stay. Plus a sauce pan was also in the sink, unwashed... so if I had wanted to cook I would have first had to have cleaned. In the dark.

Very poor communication, check in was supposed to be at 4 PM and I received no instructions from the owner prior to that. I showed up at the property with everything locked and unable to access the locker. Tried calling the owner but without any success. This took an hour to sort out after which she finally picked up the phone. Later that night the same happened to another guest trying to get into the property. The communal shower area was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while No lights in the kitchen
