I liked the idea of having a single apartment for our group of 5 after a long international travel day — unfortunately, we never got the chance to experience it.

We arrived in Zagreb late in the evening after an international flight from Spain that was delayed, with multiple gate changes. During that time, and throughout the 3+ hour flight, I did not have service and was not able to receive any messages. As soon as we landed and connected to airport WiFi, I saw several messages from the host asking about our arrival time. To be clear — I had already requested and received approval for a 9:00–10:00 PM check-in window when I booked. Based on that, I did not anticipate any issue. Given that our approved check-in window was 9:00–10:00 PM, the lack of any buffer or contingency for minor travel delays felt unreasonable. Like many rentals today, I assumed there would be a flexible or self check-in process (lockbox/code), especially for a one-night stay. When I responded immediately after landing to explain the delay and that we were on our way, I was told they would not accommodate us because it was past their working hours. Despite the circumstances being clearly outside of our control, the reservation was canceled and we were still charged in full. What’s most frustrating is the lack of proactive communication. A simple reminder 1–2 days before arrival emphasizing the strict check-in cutoff could have completely avoided this situation. The only mention was buried in a message sent back in February, nearly two months prior to the stay — not realistic to expect guests to revisit that. As a result, we were left scrambling at 11:00 PM in a foreign city with a group of five, forced to book multiple hotel rooms at the last minute, costing us hundreds of extra dollars. I understand hosts have policies, but there was zero flexibility or attempt to find a solution given the situation. Charging the full stay on top of that feels unreasonable. I would strongly caution future guests — if your travel involves any uncertainty or late arrival, this is not a safe option.

Apartman je predivan, cist i prostran. Vlasnica je vrlo susretljiva i draga. Ima privatni parking.

Very clean, the host very nice. It has everything you need, also a bakery at 2 minutes.

Nagyon tiszta és szép volt a lakás! Jó elhelyezkedéssel, a parkolás is príma volt!
