3 The Old Schoolhouse: hot tub, log burner, parking, en-suite

Everything was very good, location, facilities, plenty of room downstairs and the 2 showers were great, although we only used 1.would definitely book again .

Nothing to not like

Property was lovely, had everything you needed.

No plugs near any mirrors to do your hair! Only two very small logs for the wood burner.

Tv was difficult to use without instructions. No terrestial tv. , not enough sockets in bedroom .

The accomodation was just lovely. Everything you could need for a lovely break/getaway. Great location.

There wasn’t anything to dislike.

This property has been converted to a great standard, while keeping some original features. The location is close to the high street but tucked away enough for it to be a peaceful stay. The space was perfect for our group of four. We appreciated all of the homely touches.

Although it didn’t impact our stay too much we would like to highlight two things that would have made this a 10/10 otherwise. This is only to help the owners for the future. Unfortunately the bedrooms weren’t cleaned to a good standard, we wiped the surfaces ourselves and removed rubbish and wet towels from the drawers. The shower head in the main bathroom is broken and flooded the room due to water shooting out of the side. We changed the setting but unfortunately that meant that the pressure was too much to keep it in its hold. Hopefully those two things can be rectified for future guests as it is a great property.

Well equipped and perfectly prepared the house provided a great location for exploring Whitstable and walking the coast path. Local cafes and the East Kent pub are worth visiting and we enjoyed the hot tub even at the end of October.

Nothing much really, en suite shower is bit naff but thats about all. Finding the turning to the property took 3 or 4 attempts!

Really welcoming and efficient setup. We spent a beautiful evening in Whitstable, really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire.
