3 The Old Schoolhouse: hot tub, log burner, parking, en-suite

This place was great. If you were staying and cooking it had everything you need. Nice size kitchen, great living room and loved the split staircase. Most importantly as someone with a back issue the beds had proper comfy mattresses. Thank you I've had so many stays spoilt by uncomfortable nights sleep but not here. The location is fantastic, we didn't get any noise from the trains that run nearby and it's a gentle pootle to the many, many cafes, coffee shops, restuarants and pubs that Whistable has to offer. As it was February we didn't try the hot tub but the garden space looked good and I can imagine it perfect for sitting out with a glass of chilled wine when it's a bit warmer. Read the notice about the wood burner (sorry we just thought you still needed wood), it was a bit embarrassing when Julie came around to show what was obvious with a bit more thought. However hosts were lovely and this is somewhere we will return.
