Plates .cutlery. glasses . Everything was greasy and dirty back garden was like a forest

Location and parking were good.

House was in a poor state of repair. Needed a coat of paint and repair to wall. Velux blind in attic bedroom broken. Bathroom a bit tired. Rear yard full of weeds. Could have been cleaner. Tables in kitchen and lounge very dusty. Crumbs on kitchen work surface.

How close to the town centre it was .

We chose Champagne House as we were in the area for a family party and the property was a short drive from the venue

The property was dirty, dusty and needed decorating throughout. The walls and ceilings were all either chipped, damaged and had clearly had a leak from the bathroom to the lounge ceiling. The worktops, cupboards and tops of fridge, microwave, hob all needed cleaning. The crockery and cutlery hadn’t been washed correctly. We used very little but what we did use we washed first with boiling water from the kettle. The bathrooms also hadn’t been cleaned or cleaned properly. The shower screen over the bath wasn’t fixed correctly. The glassware, mirrors and tables had been wiped and were very streaky. The so called Terrace was beginning to look like an overgrown weed garden and didn’t have any outdoor furniture not anything to sit on. Not one chair or table or flowers or plant in sight.

Not enough kitchen utensils such as cutlery and chopping board. No tea towels or oven gloves. We had to use a bath towel to get things out of the oven! No hand soap we had to go out and buy our own.

3 bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. The size of the rooms were great.

Had a dirty appearance up close. No hand towels in any bathroom. We planned to use the Washing machine but as was filthy we didn’t. Sleeps 8 plus sofa beds however not enough plates, mugs or cutlery for use. No oven glove. No bottle opener. 1 mug had a large crack and the moment water was poured in it the water poured out of the crack! 1 bin in whole property, none in bathrooms. No food recycling or recycling options (could be provided in back garden. No chairs in bedrooms. Only 4 chairs in kitchen. Many lightbulbs not working in house. 1 bedroom sleeps 4 but no where to put any clothes or bags to store hanging up or folded. No hooks or shelves in top bathroom. Rubbish on floor of little store room on 2nd floor and this room light was left on prior to our arrival. No hair dryer in property. The cupboard under the sink & next to sink was a mess inside. We were later arriving to property than expected due to transport issues and once there we all were quite disgusted with the property. However we all needed a Kip before heading out for the evening. I did send a WhatsApp with 39 photos that afternoon at 12:40pm and received a reply at 21:50 offering us hand towels which I did not read until our return that evening to the property. Also since then we have not heard anything except an automated response to my WhatsApp message. I can send photos of all messages if required.
