Blacksmith’s Barn - Cosy, Chilled & Dog Friendly.

Exceptional couple of nights here with our cat. We received a warm welcome from the host who was always reachable. This is a very quiet area with a garage for your car next to the front door. The property is spacious and clean with all the furniture you could need. The fire was fully stocked with logs and was a highlight for us in the evenings. A few items were provided for us such as tea, milk and eggs which was a classy touch. I had considered my mattress at home to be top tier but the one at the property is better. Plenty of pillows provided, also of high quality. We found many excellent pubs and cafes in the surrounding villages just minutes away in the car. Nearby woods offer walks and there's also the east coast nearby. This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway

The property was beautiful, clean and comfortable and the hosts were so kind! It was lovely to chat to them (and meet their dogs and cat!)

Probably more of an oversight on our part, but as a couple where one of us gets up much earlier than the other, the layout of the property means that the person still in bed upstairs can hear the kettle/coffee machine/tv etc which meant that lie-ins weren’t as easy to come by unless the other crept around!

The style, the location, the comfort and the thoughtful details. It was incredible to be able to take our dog and not have to compromise on style.

Everything was perfectly well thought out and made our stay so special.

A fantastic stay at Blacksmith's Barn. Lynn and Richard were lovely hosts, the barn was clean, cosy and so comfortable. They recommended places to visit and places to eat. The village where the barn is situated is lovely too, very picturesque. Highly recommend.

A very beautiful and comfortable barn, in a pretty little village.

Lack of blackout blinds above the bed meant it was very light in the early morning.

Exceeded expectations in every aspect, would definitely return to this beautiful place. The hosts came and made sure that we had everything we needed and understood everything. Thy also recommended some great eating places.

Great location between the moors and the coast. Loved the hot powerful shower and bath on the mezzanine. Lovely immediate local walks if you bring your dog along.
