Blacksmith’s Barn - Cosy, Chilled & Dog Friendly.

The property was so beautiful and in a really peaceful location with ponies in the field just over the way. The hosts were very welcoming and kindly left us fresh eggs, milk and orange juice for our arrival. The bathtub in the room was a real treat and the bed was so comfy. There’s also little extras such as a smart speaker, access to Netflix, underfloor heating, log burner - all made our stay that little bit more special. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and hope to do so in the future with our dogs!

Everything was perfect

When we arrived we met Lynn and Richie who were lovely and very welcoming, showing us the barn and letting us know about activities in the local area. The barn itself has been lovingly converted and is very cosy and quiet, with all the kitchen facilities you'd need and a spacious bathroom. A great place to relax after a busy day. We also appreciated that it is dog friendly, with bowls and a dog towel provided.

Our second stay at Blacksmith's Barn, at the end of a trip to Yorkshire. Beautiful barn with touches of luxury. Loved the bath, and very comfortable bed. Genuinely dog friendly hosts. Good location for exploring the area. Hope to come back for longer.
