Town Centre Cottage 3 Bedroom inc Parking (1 car)

It was a home away from home, well furnished, comfortable beds and extremely clean, it was easy to find and access anything we needed and the owners of the property had amazing communication leading up towards and during our stay. The location is perfect and close to the town centre, easy to go to and from, it is also a short walk away from the train station which is handy!

Some of the doors inside don’t shut properly and will just swing open by themselves which gave us a little spook on the first night of our stay lol but everything else was perfect! maybe a latch or something of that sort could be added to the doors that don’t shut very well for added privacy and minimal jump scares haha

Quite noisy as next to a busy road but this was not an issue.

- The Location is Excellent, very central, the road is busy but only during the day. The place is very quiet in the evening. - The kitchen was very well equipped with good quality cookware, a good selection of dishes glasses and crockery and some essentials like salt, pepper, oil and plenty of cleaning products. - The host was very communicative, we didn't have any problems but i am confident that if we had he would have been easy to reach. - Having a parking space is such a bonus. - Excellent check-in time means you can make the most of your day and the host even offered us a later check-out time when he knew that the cleaners weren't arriving until later. These little things make a huge difference!

The beds were fine, not uncomfortable but obviously cheap. Thin mattresses on cheap metal bed frames that moved and creaked with the slightest movement. We found we woke ourselves up a lot in the night and as we were sharing rooms we woke up our room mate too. It wasn't terrible but definitely could be better.

I contacted the owner and still have not received a response, several weeks later!

Location was fantastic. Everything worked as expected. Staff were courteous with arranging entry etc.

Beds were too soft.
