My second visit, and I hope there will be more in future. Comfortable, convenient and well-equipped. You will not find a kinder or more thoughtful host than Gill.

Location, cleanliness & amenities

Can’t fault anything. Great location. Very cosy immaculately clean, and we felt at home immediately. We had everything we needed and Gill saving our car space was fantastic.

The accommodation had easy access and prompt correspondence with the owners . The apartment was spacious and comfortable . The kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the coffee machine and thoughtful food pack . The bedroom had new carpet and a very Comfy bed with down duvet!

The first things you see when you enter the property are the coffee table and dining table which previous guests have not taken care off. These could do with a sand and wax . Not owners fault, but would enhance if refurbed .

Comfortable, warm, clean accommodation. Quiet neighbourhood though very central.

The only issue I would point out is that, if you're preparing food, the kitchen knives are rather blunt.

No easy street parking outside of house, but it's a central location so was to be expected. Host was really helpful to find nearby locations. It's a basement flat so quite dark

steep stairs to basement apartment with only a flimsy rope to hang on to that provided no support at all. parking, parking map supplied unreadable, ended up parking in a paid carpark round the corner as there was nowhere on the street to park shower in bath, difficult to get in and out of without danger of slipping, needs a rail or non slip mat in bath
