Location was good for me for work

Bathroom light was not working / flickering Bedroom curtains let a lot of light through in the morning waking me early

The property is spacious, warm and clean. It does look like the pictures.

The key lock code wasn’t working, which was very inconvenient on a cold evening. We booked for three people, with the property listing two sofa beds in the living room and a double bed in the bedroom. There was no bedding available for the third person. We had to share one towel so the other could be used as a blanket (mind it was -1 degree at night!) The admin asked us to be patient but didn’t respond till the middle of the next day claiming that the property was never advertised for more than two people whilst it is on our booking.

Please read full. At 14.35 we received phone call that this property is not available for us to accommodate and we were offered different one not far from this one. As we were almost there we agreed. They offered us another property from booking 6 Runshwick Avenue, LS11 9LR. When we arrived the standards of the property and cleanliness were very poor but as we don't have any other option we decided to clean it and stay. We went for something to eat and get back to the property around 19.00. After 2 hours our kids start to panick as there were some bugs in their beds. After the investigation we find out the beds are full of bed bugs. We check all bedding linen and there were full of bed bugs. This forced us to vacant the property immediately and stay at hotel overnight. Please be aware as this property is still available for rent despite previous complaints regarding bed bugs and cleanliness. The owner said this is not the standard they are aiming for but clearly nothing had been done to resolve this health and safety issues.

We liked the layout of the place and the fact was nice and clean when we arrived

We didn’t like the fact we couldn’t take a warm shower or bath cause there was next to no hot water and they wouldn’t sort it after telling them the issue also didn’t like the fact you could feel all the springs in the mattress and hear them whenever you moved and the fact the doors kept getting stuck could do with better sofas

It was okay. However the bathroom lights were flickering, there were no bed coverss I presume other have used the same duvet but I’m not entirely sure. And the hot water was temperamental. I tried bathing but the hot water kept going cold

very private, clean, spacious and comfortable

LOADS of non-stop massive fireworks from about 5pm-12am daily after Halloween. The garbage bins were overflowing on my arrival so I never had space to put out garbage even after scheduled collection because I assume the bin was missed. Also, to be fair, it seems as if neighbors use the bins.

a bit overkill on the emails sent re the booking, check in and during stay, but better too many than not enough communication
