Abbey Hideout - Lovely 1-Bed APT in Heart of Bath

Amazing central location, but close enough to parking (3min walk) and loading bays (1min walk) so moving in and out wasn't an issue. All amenities you would want for a self catering stay. We actually asked to extend our booking we were that happy with it (but it was sadly booked up!)

We visited during winter when it was around 0 degrees outside and the flat was initially pretty cold as the building central heating doesn't seem to work. There is an electrical fan heater supplied which you can use to warm the place up though so it was fine after the first day.

Heating was peculiar. The instruction book asked guests not to touch the controls but this meant overnight temp was uncomfortable. the key safe was incredibly difficult to open

The location was close to most local tourist.

The wifi was not good. No utensils available for us to use. There’s heater but it didn’t keep us warm during our stay.

the radiators had been disabled and it was freezing in the flat. Walking into the bath room was like having an ice bath

Great communication. Really comfortable bed and great shower. Ideal location. We stayed a Saturday night so had a little noise from passers by late night but there are earplugs provided but we didn’t need them. Other nights very peaceful. They we happy to accommodate a well behaved dog. We would recommend

We had to open each lock box to find ours as the label was inside but it wasn’t a problem.

Nothing, as we couldn’t access the property. Stay away from this place, I wish somebody has warned us about the nightmare we were about to enter when we booked it. A team completely unreachable, who left us outside, forcing us to book another place without ever getting a refund.

The management! They are completely unresponsive and unreliable. The contact number provided is absolutely useless as it’s always out of service. I hope other people don’t fall in this trap in the way we did. We lost our money, our peace, and it completely ruined our holidays

Front door was left unlocked when we checked in with our bags inside the flat. Empty hand soap and shower gel bottles

Excellent location easy to get to everything in central Bath and just a short walk to railway station. Good shower, clean and comfortable apartment except for a few flaws. Good TV, and easy to check in and out. Good storage in bedroom.

The flat is very cold, no heating except for a fan heater. Lots of condensation on windows each morning. The bathroom needs a few fixes: one shower head is broken, a bathroom mat is needed as floor can be slippery. Plus nowhere to dry towels. The towels really need replacing they are old and way too small. The kitchen is ok but a tap is not working. A microwave would be a good addition and a bread knife.
