Beds were comfy and a good location

WiFi wasn't working which is a basic amenity. Because my mother and I were both using roaming we had NO internet during our stay. I asked for a partial refund but was told no. This is ridiculous to me if you don't provide what was promised when booking you should have the decency to rectify this. Shower was also very poor.

Location was brilliant. 10 minute (max) walk into the city. Super easy to access with good communication from host. Lovely apartment with plenty of space, comfortable and clean. Bedrooms were big with space to hang up clothes, comfortable beds and complementary products. TV in both bedrooms plus living room. Would recommend :)

Controlling the heating was hit and miss but probably more user error than an issue!

The cleanness and decor of the apartment was impressive and it was nice and spacious.

More of an observation than a criticism but the noise from the street can be loud. Also the apartment is part of a larger, older building and so noises from any part of it are not well insulated.

Everything about this apartment was so good, it more than met my expectations. There was one very good sized bedroom and one even bigger one. There was beds were so comfortable, and the whole apartment was modern, clean, warm and comfortable. There was plenty of storage space, with a hairdryer in each room, and a good iron and ironing board. The location was ideal, in a quiet street but only 5/10 mins walk from city centre. Communication from start to finish was very good. We were sent easy to follow check-in instructions, and the owners contacted us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. We did have a problem with the electric heater in one of the bedrooms, but this was sorted straightaway. All in all a great experience from start to finish.

Very cosy, comfortable, well equipped apartment and in a great location. Huge size for a city apartment. TV’s in every room!

Shower was not very powerful but good enough for a good wash :) Towels a little rough and small but very clean :) No parking but that’s typical of York and shows how central the apartment is located, also parking app recommended by owner helped us find overnight parking in reasonable walking distance.
