The Clifford Gathering - Sleeps Up To 10 York

The location was good for central York and was reasonably priced. It was clean and had everything for a one night stay.

Only one bathroom for 6 was tricky, but it sleeps up to 10. 2 sets of Bunk beds in one room, maybe split them across 2 rooms. Lack of timely communication- asked for an early check in, had to keep asking- emails not getting through to my email, although booking.com contact worked fine. Had to get changed in local pub for graduation. Visited property and fortunately were let in by the cleaners, but too late . Eventually received an email after the 3pm check in to ask what time we would arrive. Didn't let it spoil the day, but unnecessary stress could've been avoided.

Really spacious, good facilities and a smart TV to enjoy after a day in York. Good communication with the host and it's easy to reach out if you need any help!

Location was perfect and it was very comfortable and tidy. The staff were also very polite and helpful throughout.

The location was good, quite close to the centre and easy to access.. It was also clean and sufficient space for our needs.

Decor was poor, chunks of wall missing, iron burns on the carpet, run down and in need of a refresh. Also no dishwasher. Should have been one but was missing. Wifi password didn't work. One bathroom for 10 beds is also ridiculous and completely insufficient. No seating outside. What's the point of an outdoor space without seats. Wardrobes in rooms locked and inaccessible. What's the point in that? Finally lock on bathroom dodgy. People kept getting locked in.

Location was ideal, easy access to City Centre on foot , lovely restaurants & local shops all within a comfortable walking distance

Plenty of beds, exceptionally clean
