The pictures look lovely But was rather disappointed when I arrived. The cleaner was there when we arrived and apologised that it wasn’t ready but was allowed to leave our bags which was a great help Kitchen wasn’t very clean, doors and bin hasn’t been cleaned. No freezer, the fridge was tiny I have seen couldn’t get food In and was no room for drinks The oven was very old The living area is very small and the leather settee needed some tlc The leather was coming off which was covered up with throws The front bedroom downstairs had bunk beds which looks out on to the main road Upstairs 2 more bedrooms, 1 was very small and couldn’t get down side of bed Beds were also very uncomfortable The view from this bedroom wasn’t great as looked out to a pile of rubbish from neighbours yard The bathroom very dated needs lots of tlc, the door had frosted glass but could still see if you was in there The whole house was very cold, no hot water in a morning I would not recommend this for 10 people We made the most of it as it was new year The whole house needs some tlc It could be lovely but feel we was all on top of each other no where to sit unless in living area Staff are friendly received full details on how to access house even got a call to make sure we had got in properly ok which was good and a text message with phone numbers

Location and value and the Christmas was a lovely touch

Easy access to the house, I was sent a letter with all the details on how to access the property a couple of weeks before which was a nice touch. Rooms had plenty of room and were nice and clean before hand. Ideal for groups of people looking to explore York. The property is a few doors down from a pub for anyone looking to find it. Ten minute walk into York city centre and the same time to the York Barbican.

Make sure you input the correct amount of people who are going at the time of booking as they will ask how many people are going and we were hit with a hidden charge that we didnt know about which wasnt nice. Only one bathroom can be an issue but wasnt for us.
