AUOutstanding accomodation on the doorstep of restaurants and cafes and short walk to hop on hop off bus and water nearby. Could not have been more perfect!! 2 stylish, comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lovely lounge and kitchen area. Open the windows and look down on the street action..dancing, singing- be immersed in the Portuguese culture. Washing machine-bonus! No keys, just passwords. Special touch of leaving us wine and biscuits. Thank you! Easy correspondence with the hosts. Delighted we came across this home away from home. And the elevator!…this made us smile after a month of steps and hills.

USThe location is great if you want to be right in the middle of a touristy area. It was definitely centrally located and very walkable to Alfama and other highlighted areas of the city. It had three beds which was great for our girls trip, and two full baths. The windows were almost sound proof when closed which was great for sleeping considering the street below could be busy later at night. It also has an elevator which is great for suitcases and tired legs after walking the cobblestone streets all day. The apartment was relatively clean and had a washer which we took advantage of.
The apartment as a whole was nice but there are definitely some updates that could be made. The shower in the front bath did not feel the cleanest and you were soaked with water every time you turned on the shower no matter how the shower heads were pointed. The sink leaked and there were only the rolls of toilet paper provided which barely lasted the three of us for the six days we were there. We also requested some additional rolls and they were not provided. The toiletries were very limited and the towels had a musty smell, so we ended up washing them. Overall, it was acceptable but there are a few minor updates that could be made to make it exceptional.
