On arrival opened the door and it was full of fumes from the down stairs pub kitchen , smelly Smokey had to open all the windows .It eventually cleared .Floor boards are Creek and dangerous due to nails coming up had cover them so little one didn’t get hurt .Needs attention lots loose .,,! I had to set the tv up ,, as no channels programmed ! Floor needs fixing and covering with new floor to stop fumes .Big luvly Flatt ,0 lots of little extras left for your use detergents cloths etc big help.Would go back !

Exceptional property and cannot recommend enough - beautifully decorated, comfortable, all utilities in the kitchen, good location, reliable WiFi and really responsive hosts. 10/10 for us and highly recommend!

I'd ask for a little spatula in the kitchen and would suggest including instructions to reach the local tesco etc (definitely took us a while to find it!)

"We enjoyed our long weekend especially so close to Christmas. Edinburgh felt very festive."

The location is perfect seconds from the Royal Mile, shops and restaurants and the Castle is a few minutes walk away.

The property is a bit tired and needs a refurb. The bath is a struggle to get in as it’s quite high off the floor and this is where the shower is located.

"Great location, huge flat but needs some TLC"

The property is very large with amazing original features. The location is great for tourists. It is a bit noisy with a lot of noise late at night from people in Victoria Street. But maybe that could be expected from its location. It was not too bad and we all slept well. There is secondary glazing added to the bedroom windows. The flat is also very warm and heats up quick. Even in December we hardly needed the heating.

The property is actually quite tired with dated bathrooms and kitchen. From the photos I thought it would have been a lot nicer than it was. The property could be amazing but is let down by its scruffy interiors. The hall wall has a huge crack in it. Paint is chipped off in many locations. Overall it just needs some TLC.
