2 Bed Old Town Apartment - Next To Castle

Location, space and comfy sofas were fantastic..

If the windows weren’t so dirty the view over the Grassmarket would have been good!

IKEA pillows were old and the foam filling had broken up. There was no hot water as the boiler hadn’t been serviced so we had to ring the emergency number. Shower was temperamental and difficult to use. The windows were filthy apart from a small patch where someone had cleaned to see out. The separate WC was very poorly maintained. The general maintenance of the property was dreadfully for what we paid. Obviously an owned by a large company that doesn’t care about standards but will charge top dollar.

Huge apartment! Plenty of room for a family. Large kitchen, views from every window , comfy couches, sounds of nightlife outside. The location is awesome. The castle is right there!

It need repair work The windows probably were not cleaned for a year. There was no bed side light in one of the bedrooms. The images might have been photoshopped Only one WC which was not in the bathroom and right at the other end of the apartment

Dirty windows no usb charging ports, most rooms had holes in walls or picture hangers.

Great location. Very spacious

The pillows on the beds were terrible, they need to be replaced. There were not enough cooking utensils in the kitchen, very light on.

Gorgeous apartment. Perfect for a family, without sacrificing luxury. The location could not be topped. Right in the old town, steps from the castle, the Royal Mile, Victoria Street (inspiration for Diagone Alley in Harry Potter). The hosts also kindly organised an early check-in for us.

Views were incredible but windows were pretty dirty to see out ... very very minor issue.
