4WD policy effective 15th April 2024 for new reservations: 1) Children under 03 years must be accompanied by parents or guardians in exclusive 4WD vehicles, at an additional cost, and require a signed indemnity form. 2)Families with children under 12 years are encouraged to opt for exclusive 4WD vehicles, at an additional cost for a personalized experience, though shared vehicles are available. 3) Pregnant women are advised against 4WD excursions for safety but can join with a signed indemnity form. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making payment at the resort. Uga Chena is an incredible place with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The service was flawless — every detail taken care of with care and professionalism. The team at the restaurant and reception were extremely kind and welcoming. Our safari experience was unforgettable, thanks to our amazing guide Dushmantha, who made it both exciting and insightful.

"They should change it from All Inclusive to All Exquisite"

Everything! Exclusive and exquisite. This rates as one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The location, the rooms, the staff were all outstanding. And the food…. Oh my, truly outstanding. And travelling with to young kids nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Everything was fabulous.

"Beautiful place and lovely experience"

The staff is incredibly friendly, they anticipate your needs, they remember anything you tell them once, they try to make your experience as nice and as complete as possible. The rangers are passionate and truly want the best for you. The Chef is exceptional and the food is excellent. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with a great decoration.

Facilities include a leisure swimming pool and a spa, but not much beyond that. Of course, the main attraction is the safari and you can do as many as two a day. However, I still believe that the price of stay is slightly too high for what you get, which I find, is a common problem in Sri Lanka and the pain of paying above what you get is only lessened by the extraordinary kindness of people.

All inclusive meant all inclusive. Staff is absolutely amazing they cater to your every need and serve with a smile. It really feels like they all enjoy their jobs. Everyone is filled with joy and smiles

The road to get there is quite difficult, and in the bar area there is no music
