S Homestay 2BR&2BR - Imago Kota Kinabalu

Location very good above the shopping mall. Also the leisure facilities - pools and fitness centre - were good. Our check in was unavoidably late, but the host was very understanding and welcoming.

Location is nice. Inside the imago mall. The apartment complex has swimming pool & gym. Host is friendly, helpful. and punctual. Quick response via Booking.com chat or Whatsapp. Kitchen utensils are fully prepared with plates, cups, glasses, bowls, knives, cutting board, scissor, rice cooker, electric kettle, microwave, strainer/filter, dish soap, spoons, forks, cooking pot & pan. Other homeware appliances are also provided like icebox, washing machine, hangers, cloth-drying rack, tv, iron & iron board. Unexpected nice surprise: Got foot massage machine, Prayer mat, Prayer telekung, Comics (Shin Chan), food cover (cloche), trash plastic bag, full body mirror :)

Wifi is badly lagging during our stay, despite other people review it positively. We are heavy user of internet so its an issue for us. Main entrance door lock is broken, so we could not lock it. However the host did explain it prior to our stay and provided double locks for the grill door. It might be a slight hassle to padlock the grill every time but security is our priority so an extra step wouldn't hurt. 1 of the door handle for the balcony is broken. This is not an issue for us as there is another door handle that is still working. In 1 of the bedroom, one of the ceiling lights kept flickering. A bit annoying but not a major issue. Just a change of bulb would suffice. Need to use access card for the free parking at Loft A. Therefore we needed to park at Imago mall parking (with charge) first while waiting for check in. Once we received the access card from the host, only then we can use the free parking for loft A.

The view amazing, spacious, very clean

Cleanliness, very helpful owner and all necessities were provided such as washing machine, prayer mat, hairdryer, foot massager machine (very brilliant idea), and the bonus part is that the wifi is super fast too.

None but just as suggestions perhaps to provide more pillows and blankets enough for 5-6 pax and the carpet in the bedroom should be change as it was quite dusty.
