Peace and quiet, lovely wood fire inside the Bird House. Jacuzzi right next to it so fantastic relaxation after long walk around the beautiful Cumbria.

Everything was up to our expectations.

"Great Stay in the woods with the rare birds!"

Great location. Quiet but not too isolated. Private but close to the owner. The birds and owls were a unique selling point and a bonus. Facilities were clean and new. Well kept. Hot tub was fantastic. Private sole use which was constantly on. The hot tub area was great. Wood burner was lovely in the autumn evening. A great place for a couples stay!

Lack of extractor fan left the open plan space smokey and smelling of burnt oven remains when using the oven.

Great escape for the weekend. Relaxing and therapeutic with added bonus of listening to the birds on site. Hot tub was a great bonus and our bird experience was excellent.

The property was immaculate and very homely. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could need and spotless. As an added bonus the hosts also introduced us to the birds of prey who also live on the site
