Bird House - Sleep with the Owls!

Amazing. Hosts were lovely and very helpful, everything was amazing aside from the shower which had temperamental pressure and temperature issues, but was made up for with the surrounding location and bird sanctuary. Birds were a lovely niche touch and the hosts knowledge was incredible.

The bird house was lovely. You can go and visit the birds of prey at any time. The hot tub is nice and private. BBQ was start-up ready to use. Pub just down the road. It was just what we needed.

Everything about the place was wonderful, the location, the birds, the hot tub the fire on a night. And so much more.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Very comfortable and clean property. Nice fresh outdoor air with a lovely wild feel. Close to Carlisle. The hot tub was hot when we arrived and the Host was more than happy to help with anything.

The cabin is really comfy and clean, the hot tub and log burner make it even more enjoyable. Bonus that there’s plenty of fire wood to use on arrival. Would definitely stay again my wife and I had a very relaxing couple of nights here.

Not really a criticism but the bathroom was very cold, guess this is just due to the nature of the building.

Excellent facilities, modern and clean. Unique location with the addition of the birds on site...especially Hootie the snowy owl who greeted us every morning with her song! Gary our host was super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Great to be close to Carlisle too but out the way enough to feel secluded. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The hot tub is also a fantastic addition! We were also lucky enough to watch one of the on site bird experiences and see the beautiful birds in action.
