The Dublin Packet - Single room 2

The location is great when arriving off a ferry in the evening. The room is very small but perfect for what it is, a place to crash after travelling all day. It even included a little tea and coffee tray and kettle which is a perk I didn't expect. Bathroom was nice and clean.

My room didn't have a window but honestly this didn't bother me as I was just staying for the night and the room itself was cosy. The only major issue I had was that cleaning staff ended up kicking me out of the room to clean 30mins before check out. I told him I still had 30mins and he accepted that but said he needs to clean now. It was a freezing cold day and I had some time still before my train would arrive so I didn't really appreciate this. If this is common practice then just set the checkout time to 10:30.

Didn't realize it was a shared bathroom, must have misread the amenities.

Keys took a bit of getting used to!

close proximity to railway station, close to town for shops, bus stop near to property

No en-suite, shared kitchen and bathroom between four rooms. no extra bedding i.e. pillows or blankets limited crockery and cutlery. No fire escape instructions. Coiled electric extension lead used as supply for kettle and bedside lamp.

A grand little spot to stay either side of a later or early ferry. It is right by the station, just over the bridge from Platform 1, and easy to follow the instructions for getting into your room. My room was perfect for one person, very warm and cosy which was fab having come in from a downpour. Had a great sleep, and the shower was very good too.

Not an issue but just be aware it is shared bathroom and no reception.
