Does its job for a night

I knew I’d have a room without window but thought there would be some sort of ventilation to not have this damp smell in a 4m2 room

Close to the station and ferry.

No toiletries provided, but I may have not checked whether they offer this or not.

No food available

Too dear for what it was, no window, not even a coat hook.

Wifi code usefully provided - always essential! Having a kitchen area was good with plates and cutlery in the cupboard and a fridge, hob and microwave. Tea, coffee, toiletries all provided. Bed clean and comfy. Place to park outside for long enough to unload bags.

The room was very small - so the side table was completely taken up by kettle, tea making stuff and lamp. No spare room for my stuff! Only 2 sockets on extension lead. 3 would be good. I thought it was a little expensive for the size of room and shared bathroom and toilet. Shower gel is nicer than soap in a shared shower situation. A couple of hooks on the back of the bedroom door would be useful for wet coats etc. The front door lock was a bit tricky to lock securely.

Wonderful to have this place a few minutes walk from the ferry/rail station, given that the ferries and trains are so poorly coordinated. Basic rooms but with everything you need, and clearly lovingly maintained. Very impressed

It wasn't immediately apparent which keybox I should go to. No biggie, but it could be made clearer, perhaps with a numbered label on each (including those by the doors).

It was clean.

It didn’t feel safe for a solo female traveler. There was no window in the room. The walls were very thin.
