Brownrigg - half a house & garden

Location was fab. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Access to other areas excellent. Host friendly & very accommodating.

Pat, the host, was brilliant, welcoming, and attentive The grounds that are substantial and rural are a delight for dog owners as the large garden was secure, and your pooch could run around the gardens and could not get out. We had a happy pooch running around. Pat has everything a guest could want, and the property is to a very high standard. Breakfast was varied and lovely. We came as guests and left as friends. It was that good we are going back next week. Well done, Pat 10 out of 10.

Sadly ( and it’s not a complaint), because of our age and mobility, the seating in the lounge was a little too low for us and we struggled to get up from the ( very comfortable) sofas

The location is ideal to explore Northumberland. It really was half a house and a garden. Surrounded by National Park and farmland. My dog made new friends and Pat was a great host. Can highly recommend.

This lovely home is perfectly placed for the traveling around the beautiful moors and to the coast, stunning scenery from start to the end of each day. loved the beautiful bays , the well kept villages and farms. carparking cheap every where . After a huge breakfast each day we came back to the most delicious evening meals cooked to perfection, the sweets are to die for, we will be back .David and Marion Hopkinson
