Unit 2 - Carrock View Camping Pod

The setting was nice, the little garden area was good although the weather was not in our side so we didn’t get to use it much. Had everything you’d need, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc.

When I made the booking I thought it had said 3 beds so I took bedding for this and when I arrived it was two beds with a board to use in between to make it into a massive bed. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The carpet that was just inside the door was covered in dog hair, I understand the site is dog friendly but maybe it needs something else there that’s easier to clean. I was only there one night but by the morning one loo had run out of paper and I’d not seen anyone coming to check anything. There were a lot of flys all over the soap dispenser and inside it, something to dry hands would be good.

Location was brilliant, relaxing 100% guaranteed, just need to accept and understand the ethos of the owners to really enjoy this site.

The track to the village should be signposted better because it is a pleasant walk on a summers evening, and honestly using the main road route to the village is not a safe option to walk.

Absolutely love this camping pod. Location, views superb. Comfortable, clean. Well equipped. Loved the decking area and the fact our space was fenced off for our little dog. Slept really well.

First time here. Absolutely loved it. The view from the pod is superb. The pod is small , but has everything you need for camping. Very well laid out and clean, with kettle, microwave and toaster. I particularly liked having our own space , as it has a fenced off area, and decking area which is a sun trap. 🌞 Bed was extremely comfortable, and firm. Good location for Carlisle. The toilets and shower are close by. A huge metal container kitted out really well. Good shower. For anyone liking the peace of being in the countryside / on a working farm - this is for you

A very minor thing - the little fridge is working but not the best.not a lot of space but if your camping you don't normally have a fridge, so it was really a bonus to keep milk and a few bits in.

I loved the pod with its own lawn, table, fire out. My dogs were safe. I have paid the same for a pod elsewhere where I slept on the floor. This pod has beds, microwave, kettle, toaster, little fridge and a bed side lamp. The shower ( separate) was very hot and much more powerful than my home one. It’s quiet, peaceful and in the most beautiful location. I was anxious about going away alone with my 2 dogs but they loved it and slept straight through. I have already started looking to book again!
