The Yard Platinum Peak, Victoria Falls

Nice quiet area, peaceful with pleasant surrounds and tastefully furnished.

Was a bit of a walk from the car park for our vehicle with a roof top tent, to the room with our luggage. Bathroom needs a little maintenance/alteration to deal with water egress

Very satisfying accommodation

Walkable distance to almost everything we needed. Secure place and packing. The lady who received us by the gate Flo was very helpful and loving.

Lack of a swimming pool only

Very responsive hosts who also organised great value day trips Bed very comfortable

Could do with a starter pack, small laundry liquid, teabag, coffee, kitchen roll.

Lovely apartment, good value for money

The unit was very spacious, and the kitchen well equipped with new modern appliances. There was even one plug that was compatible with our plugs. This was critical as we had not realised that the electricity plugs were different to what we use, so had not brought any converters. Thomas was gracious, coming quickly when we asked for help, and checked up on us to ensure that our stay was a pleasant one. The pricing was great value for money, and it just a quick drive into the city centre and to Victoria Falls. We, unfortunately, did not have sufficient time to use the jacuzzi and the exercise bike, in our ground fall garden unit.

The only design flaw was not having a separate toilet unit, but we managed with three people in the unit.

Schöne und große Wohnung, die auch sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Unser Apartment 106 war im EG und hatte auch noch eine Terrasse mit Garten und Jacuzzi. Die Küche ist groß und die Waschmaschine kam uns sehr gelegen. Die Anlage ist sicher und 24/7 überwacht. Zu den Wasserfällen fährt man etwa 20 Minuten und bis in den Ort ca. 10 Minuten.

Die Wohnung war an manchen Stellen etwas schmutzig. Die Bettwäsche war nicht sauber und die Badewanne hätte auch etwas sorgfältiger gereinigt werden können. Leider ging das warme Wasser genau 1x. Danach änderte sich an der Situation trotz Information des Vermieters nichts und wir hatten weiterhin nur kaltes Wasser und davon auch recht wenig (kein Druck auf der Dusche). Auch die Klimaanlage ging nicht (Fehlermeldung). Auch wurde wohl das Fenster lange geöffnet. Wir hatten zahlreiche riesige Spinnen im Apartment, die an den überraschendsten Stellen auftauchten. Wer jedoch eine günstige Unterkunft in Vic Falls sucht, kann hier gut unterkommen.

The rooms were clean and big. The Internet was working perfectly fine.
