Magnifique endroit qui se mérite (petite route pour l'atteindre mais tant mieux, endroit préservé). Calme, tranquillité, beaux hébergements en vieilles pierres. Tout est très bien équipé et fonctionnel. Zénitude totale. Extrême gentillesse d'Agatha et de Fernanda. Excellent vin de la propriété. Superbes moments et superbes souvenirs notamment en profitant des kayaks et du ponton pour se balader et se baigner dans le Douro.

Les prix pratiqués pour manger sur place sont prohibitifs. Ce n'est pas une critique mais une carte moins onéreuse et plus variée serait un vrai plus.

The location is right next to the river which is nice . The availability of the employees for anything that we ask for .

1 . The street (the only street ) to get there is mind blowing. For a less experienced driver, can be a true challenge. Takes you about 20 minutes to drive from the main road to the “hotel” . NIGHTMARE. Honestly and I am Portuguese. 2 . The breakfast is nothing spectacular. Quite the opposite. Super simple with frozen bread that was warmed up in the oven. Cheese ham , coffee and milk. Yogurt and fruit. And they make some eggs. Big lack of diversity. 3 . The property is not taken care of properly . The gardens. The pool needs a proper deep cleaning. 4. The internet. During the days that we were there the internet only worked one day. Imagine this: NOBODY stays in the hotel during the night. You don’t have service, you don’t have internet and the hotel team strongly advised you not to drive at night because the street that I mention before does not have any kind of light. If something happens on the property or to you or if it’s any emergency, whatever: GOOD LUCK. 5. Everybody in the comments talks about the generosity of the 2 ladies they are indeed super sweet and try to do the best they can. But they do not have the professionalism or the hospitality background to be the front of a “hotel”. Far from that. 6 . All of these critics have been take in consideration mostly how they advertise the space and the price that they ask for stay. Every year I go to Douro and every year I stay in different places- this was by far the less happy place that I have been in the region. 170€ + night is way too much for a place that is not taken care of, lacks infrastructure, investment and professionalism.

L'accès est difficile en voiture. Comptez 40mn pour rejoindre PINHAO.

Le personnel soucieux de satisfaire nos demandes. Prêt de canoë, petite " dînette" le soir pour nous dépanner, on redoutait de prendre la route

L'accès très même trop compliqué en voiture 25 min de chemin après la route. Chemin où l'on ne peut pas croiser d'autres voitures, c'est stressant. De plus mieux vaut avoir une voiture pas trop basse voire un 4x4. Si on veut visiter le Douro il ne faut pas choisir cet endroit trop isolé. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance car il y avait des travaux à côté, sinon le cadre est magnifique.

L’endroit, la gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel, le calme, le fait de se sentir comme à la maison.

Le personnel était très sympathique, la literie est bonne et le cadre joli!

Attention accès compliqué, 15 bonnes minutes sur une route cabossée de vignoble pour arriver. La cuisine est bonne mais très cher, 50€ pour le repas sans le vin.

Great wine domain ; very isolated You need to book diner if you want but the food is delicious

The airco was malfunctioning ; Gardeners cleaning the garden and area as the owner had a party ; disrespectful for existing guests as very noisy and disturbing .

Excellent location, lovely people (Joana, Fernanda & Agatha). Food was so nice and so was the wine. It’s heaven on earth.

Bit difficult access, but very well signed.
