The location is a bit remote but lovely with the fields just across the road. The lodge (we call this a bach in NZ) was cosy with everything you need for a longer stay. The mezzanine ‘bedroom’ has a very low ceiling, very cosy and cute. Might be a bit difficult to move around in if you are tall. Toni, the host was very friendly and helpful, was onto it straightaway when there was a short power cut, came over with candles and checking if we were ok. Only 30 mins from Gatwick.

The sofa/ sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable otherwise everything was lovely.
