Everything was lovely, the cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. The location was great to explore the local are and we very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage is tastefully decorated to a high standard.

Nothing - we would definitely stay again.

"A wee gem!"

The Wee Cottage is superb. This lovely gem is clean, super comfortable and kitted out beautifully. The renovations have been cleverly done - forming a glass entrance hall leading up to a luxurious bedroom with super comfy king size bed. The kitchen and shower room are beautiful - lovely fixtures and fittings. I particularly loved the large rainfall shower. There is a lovely rear garden which is an evening sun trap. Perfect for a glass of wine after a long day walking. I really appreciated the quality bedding, multiple bedroom mirrors, multiple plugs with usb points and the allocated parking. I would definitely recommend. There are numerous walks from the doorstep. Also very handy for Drumlanrig, Thornhill, Durisdeer, Crawick Multiverse, all of which I’d recommend. I also appreciated the numerous OS maps and walk information in the cottage. I also slept like a log - Penpont is super quiet.

"Cute wee cottage. Comfy bed."

Superking bed was very comfy. Good fixtures and fittings, nice cosy wee cottage (once we worked out the heating/wifi)!

We had to wait outside for 20mins for the key safe code, which was only provided when chased for. No welcome pack with safety info etc and wifi wasn’t on when we arrived. (need wifi for heating)! Shower was big and looked fancy, but took ages for water to heat and low pressure.
