Ocean Rose I - Old Naxos Town

La localisation, l’agencement intérieur, la gentillesse de Maria. Tout était simplement parfait. Le logement est situé dans le vieux quartier historique, au calme, et à proximité immédiate de tout.

Logement très bien situé, dans le centre de la vieille ville mais très au calme. Accueil et échanges fluides. Fidèle aux photos et à la description. Et mention spéciale pour la terrasse, très sympa pour bouquiner.

Escalier un peu raide pour se rendre à la salle de bain.

The property is right in the heart of the old town of Naxos - it couldn't be any closer to shops, restaurants, bars etc. Mary, the host, was very kind and helpful. She supplied us with all the local information we needed and even made us some culinary treats!

Nothing, the accommodation was above what we expected.

Everything was perfect! Right in the heart of old Naxos town, the accommodation was clean and so beautiful! Mary made sure we were well looked after, the rooftop area is beautiful, it has some lovely restaurants nearby, and the most amazing bakery around the corner

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, hat ein großes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, das Bad und die Dachterrasse befinden sich im oberen Bereich. Die Wohnung liegt perfekt zentral in der Altstadt von Naxos Chora. Von hier aus ist alles schnell zu Fuss zu erreichen. In den Gassen rundherum befinden sich Tavernen und Cafe‘s. Man sollte aber gut zu Fuss sein. In der Wohnung befindet sich im unteren Zimmer eine kleine Küche, hier haben wir uns Frühstück zubereitet und auf der Dachterrasse gegessen. Alles hier macht den Eindruck, wäre es frisch renoviert oder neu. Echt schön. Danke an unsere Gastgeberin Mari, Du bist toll.

Die Treppe kann auf Dauer etwas nervig sein. Ich würde behaupten, du solltest nicht größer als 1,85m sein.

The location is AMAZING! Right in the heart of Old Naxos Town. It's cute, quintessential, and overall a wonderful experience. I was hesitant about having the bathroom outside the room, but it's the full authentic experience of "living" in Greece and I ended up loving it. Meri, our host, was lovely and so kind. She is a great host and we loved meeting her! We would stay here again without hesitation.

Hearing the neighbors get "busy" at 6AM every day! 😂

Great location in a really pretty street

I was a little hesitant to book this apartment because there weren't many reviews, but I'm so glad I went with my gut because I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my trip to Naxos. It is a beautiful apartment with everything you will need in an amazing location, right in the heart of the old town. Knowing Mari was next door made me feel very safe as a solo female traveller and Nektaria was very easy to communicate with. You will not regret staying here!

The mattress was a little uncomfortable but I slept on top of the big spare blanket for support so I managed to sleep pretty well. There is also quite a lot of light from the streetlamps so I recommend bringing an eye mask.

Mary the owner is LOVELY. It was a delight to meet her. The location is incredible and the place itself is so cute and has everything you could need.

The only negative is that if there's someone staying below you, you can hear EVERYTHING. A couple stayed in the flat below for one out of my three nights and it was awful, they arrived home at about 2am and I was awake with them until 4am, and then heard them as soon as they woke up. You can also hear everything out on the street quite clearly. Just bring earplugs!
