Location is lovely and the staff lovely too. Lily and Stephen did their best to put the we gs right.

The food was poor. The attention to detail by staff was poor (lacking in awareness, forgetting to attend to requests). The food at dinner was simply awful. Services such as valet parking were non-existant). My expectations had been very high but reality was very poor.

It’s beautiful and decorated so well; great views and our room was very spacious. I love they serve alcohol free wine in the bar and restaurant. Food was lovely in the evening

I booked a balcony room but that’s not what we got. I have no idea still what happened. There was a lot of building work happening so access to the changing rooms was a bit confusing. Sadly an evacuation meant we got a basic breakfast offering in the golf club with waiting staff not really paying much attention to anything at all. I also got burns on a plate which although Liam and Julie in the main hotel were very caring about, the restaurant staff didn’t bother at all

Beautiful property with a strong sense of place. We had a genuinely lovely couple of days and the night team handled a late room move very well.

We were woken at around 10:30pm by drilling and tile cutting directly outside our room, requiring a late-night move. The following morning there was confusion about our room status, including housekeeping entering while we were still in bed. More concerning was the handling at checkout, which lacked acknowledgement and ownership and did not reflect the standard the hotel appears to be positioning itself against.
