Absolutely everything - it was stunning and the staff were the most attentive we’ve met and made us feel so welcome. Amazing great Hall, excellent Easter decor - gold tree!!! Fab spa facilities, we really enjoyed that. Great food in Cloisters restaurant.

There’s nothing to dislike.

"Disappointing"

Only stayed 1 night out 2 yo recover from a bereavement but left due to illness but still had to pay the full amount. The hotel didn't offer any refund or complimentary stay. As my illness was very likely Covid I decided to go home rather than use the spa facilities which would most likely impact other guests. Small room, no view. Room was uncomfortably hot even with the thermostat turned down. The bed was very comfortable though. Best part of the stay was Ian, Concierge

Very comfortable bed. The staff were all extremely lovely and friendly.

Awful coffee - probably worst coffee in North of England Accounts system seems a bit of a shambles. They were unable to split our restaurant or bar bill between 3 couples. They were unable to add the bar bill to our restaurant bill. The staff needed more training.
