Everything was perfect they are so friendly and the food was amazing the rooms were clean and very comfortable

Hospitality too class comfort beyond words

Bad signal but can't be helped all round perfection so not even a didn't like in view

Lovely decor and grounds were nice too

Thought the price was too high considering the building work and the Spa was very disappointing. Room was far too hot no air con and couldn’t keep the window open.

Second time visitors - lovely, historic building set in beautiful grounds with a golf course wrapped around. Facilities improving all the time (investment in new Spa).

Data signal is virtually non existent and WiFi very slow. Need to ensure comms capability is spot on in today’s world.

The breakfast was really wonderful, couldn’t fault the service or options. The grounds and building are absolutely stunning. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quite sounds proof, I definitely slept well! Wonderfully deep bathtubs in the rooms.

Our room was smaller than I anticipated, I booked the classic double and I felt like the pictures when booking did not represent the size of the room we were given. This may be me nitpicking, but a lot of the grout in the shower was orange and the silicone was black in that places. The room and bathroom were clean but I felt like this fell below what I’d expect at a 5 star hotel. We booked the emerald restaurant for our meal, on arrival we were told half the menu wasn’t available and while we were eating, the music playing was on someone’s Spotify and it kept playing McDonalds adverts every 3/4 songs. The jacuzzi was out of order too with no prior warning which was pretty disappointing. The massages, at £120 each for an hour, we felt was overpriced.

Room was spacious and a good quality. however, no hot water on 2nd morning and room was cold on arrival. No internet available in the room. Breakfast service haphazard. staff were good.

More explanations on food menus. Wifi to be available throughout the hotel.
