Devon Surf . Inn - Hiriketiya

La guesthouse a répondu à TOUTES nos attentes : la chambre, propre et confortable, la famille super accueillante, disponible et arrangeante. On a pu louer des scooter en direct, laisser nos sacs et se rincer après la plage (après notre check out). L’emplacement est un peu en retrait du centre et au calme (10 mn à pied de la plage). C’est l’hébergement qu’on a préféré de tout notre séjour (la salle de bain était propre et grande, ça faisait longtemps). On reviendra ! :)

We had such a beautiful stay here. The family who runs this place are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. They truly treated us like part of their own family. I injured my ankle during our trip, and they went above and beyond to look after me — checking in constantly to make sure I was okay, helping me up the stairs every night, and even bringing me crutches from their temple so we didn’t have to buy any. They offered us dinner, helped with anything we needed, and made us feel completely cared for. Their kindness made such a difference during a stressful time, and we’re so grateful. If you’re looking for a stay with genuine warmth, hospitality and heart, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend.

Nothing - everything was perfect

Amazing place to stay in Hiriketiya, the family are genuinely nice. Good internet and air conditioning! Located on the main road around 10-12 minutes walk to the Hiriketya beach!

Zeer nette en schone kamer, vriendelijke familie en goed ontbijt.

Weinig, was net iets te ver van het strand en de restaurants om te lopen. Prima te doe met een tuk tuk.

I enjoyed my stay at the Devon Surf Inn. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The family are all lovely hosts and they made me feel very welcome.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Devons Surf Inn, es war bereits unsere dritte Unterkunft dieser Art (eigenes Bad, Klimaanlage, Doppelbett) und wir waren absolut begeistert! Das Zimmer war super sauber und sehr gepflegt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das ausgesprochen freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, wir haben uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Der Roller-Verleih direkt vor Ort war völlig unkompliziert und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch flexibler gemacht. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, ca. 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt, aber genau das fanden wir sehr angenehm und mit dem Roller waren wir ja sowieso total fix unterwegs. Wir konnten am Tag der Abreise auch die Check-Out-Zeit problemlos von 11 auf 13 Uhr verlängern, was evtl. auch daran lag, dass nicht die nächsten Gäste schon vor der Tür standen, aber wir fanden es trotzdem sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Ein Ort, an dem man gerne länger bleiben möchte und hätten wir nicht noch so viele weitere Stopps auf unserer Reise geplant, wären wir definitiv geblieben!

when i booked the place, i was a bit spectical , just hoping it turns out as shown in the pict and reviews. when we reached the place and checked in, was amazed that the place is exceptional , just like stated. the host were very warm and welcoming. made us feel welcomed and safe. the rooms were clean, good quality linen and towels, all the stuff in the room looked so beautiful and well kept. they have really invested in the place with passion and care to ensure we feel comfortable. The breakfast provided as great, the host family made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. its very close to the beach, about 10-15 mintes walking.. we overall enjoyed our stay.

Fijne douche met warm water. Alles was ontzettend schoon. Bedden lagen goed!

Het is iets verder lopen van het centrum maar dit is te overzien. Met 8 minuten ben je er.
