IENothing avoid, scam host
Scam avoid. Booked and paid for an apartment via booking.com. Got a Whatsapp message a few days before saying there was an issue with the apartment booked and we would need to move to a new apartment. When we went to retrieve the key from the lock box it was empty. Called the host multiple times for 2 hours then had to book into alternate accomodation. Perfect with 2 small children

AULocation was as expected, central.
It was dirty, the central courtyard on entry was like Kilmainham Jail. It was very very dirty from entry to lift to external walkways and so was the apartment. If they showed external and central courtyard photos I would not have booked this accommodation. There are so many little things that could be so much better for the occupants IF they simply cared, maintained and cleaned the apartment. It was rated a 3 star standard but is only boosted from barely 2 1/2 by the central location. Overall disappointing for all in our group.
